No, I'm not talking about anyone specific. I'm talking about the White Trash Holiday Mix that I make every year. Gee people.
This is incredibly simple to make but boy is it fun and MM MM Delicious! it makes a great snack to giveaway to friends and family as a stocking stuffer for the holidays.
Here goes (sorry for dark pics - I couldn't get flash to work properly)
WHITE TRASH HOLIDAY MIX
What You'll Need:
- Wax or Parchment Paper
- 5 Cups of Cheerios
- 5 Cups of Corn Chex Cereal
- 3 bags of Nestle White Baking Chips
- 3 TBS Vegetable Oil
- Bag of mini pretzels
- 2 bags of Hershey's M/Ms (I use one bag peanuts, one regular...sometimes three!)
- Peanuts, Optional
- Holiday sprinkles for decor
Instructions:
The easiest way I've found is to cover your table with wax paper, and from there dump out all the ingredients onto the paper/table. Place the three bags of white baking chips and the vegetable oil in a bowl and mix well - place in microwave for 1min30s until you can stir the chips smoothly. Then pour the melted chips over the mix and with your hands (with gloves) mix the ingredients together until fully coated. Let cool on the wax paper and then break into pieces. Store in airtight container and voila!

Yum looks so good! And the name is hilarious! Merry Christmas :)
