Hi there! I'm AJ from The Fashionable, Fit Traveler. My blog is about my life of fitness, style, healthy living, and constantly traveling for both work and fun. Huge thanks to Sarah for letting me guest post today!
Let me just start by saying that I'm not the best style blogger. I don't have a photographer or a fancy camera (I use my laptop camera or my little compact digital Cannon).
Second disclaimer are my shopping rules (I'm not a savvy thrifter like Sarah yet, but we can all have goals, right?!).
Rule #1 - everything must be on sale.
Rule #2 - if its something super trendy, buy it cheap!
Rule #3 - if its high quality and on sale, then it must be able to be worn SEVERAL times!
Before reading style blogs, I had never been in a J. Crew store because I always thought it was too expensive. Then a blogger that I regularly follow had worn an awesome pencil skirt and it was on sale! My cue to check it out. Since then, I now own 3 J. Crew pencil skirts (all originally $89, all purchased on sale for under $40). So, without further adue, here's my pink pencil skirt and how to style it all year round!
SUMMER
A simple white tank, a fun neon belt, gold necklace and embellished sandals = DONE!
This is a more professional look for summer. Pearls always dress up an outfit, and the blue/white striped wrap shirt is flattering on all body types.

FALL
WINTER
I love cozy sweaters in the winter, so here's a tan cowl neck with a brown belt to add definition to my waist and brown heeled boots.
SPRING
I don't know why, but gingham always reminds me of spring/summer. And I love how this wide black belt totally changes the look of the skirt. Black pointy heels and a chunky purple necklace finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed my walk through the seasons in my hot pink pencil skirt! And thanks again to Sarah :-) Have a great week, everybody!
