Today I'm "Substitute Teaching" for Whitney over at Along the Lines! I'm sure this is what most of the students will be thinking when they see me:
Regardless, I wanted to put together an outfit that was something like Whitney herself would wear. She's a stylish and savvy teacher so I needed to dress to impress! I saw this look of hers not too long ago and loved the simplicity yet chic, sophisticated look it had!
While this is an actual dress, I thought I'd try to style my own reinterpretation with items I have in my closet, and with a few more accessories to bring in my own personal style! Here's what I came up with (my dog couldn't seem to stay out of the pics either; she's a ham)
Ruffle Tank: NY&Co. (7.99) | Skirt: NY&Co. (7.99)
Necklace: Dots (6.00) | Snakeskin Belt: H/M (5.95)
Pumps: Target (6.98) | Gold Jewelry: Kohls ($10 total)
Silky Terrier Pup (Zoe): Best Purchase Ever
TOTAL COST OF PURCHASE: $45
