Spring Cleaning & Crafting!

I love spring cleaning days - putting things together to donate, reorganizing, moving things around - I just love Saturdays at home like this!

I saw this idea originally on Pinterest but tweaked it a bit.

Items you'll need:
- three 5x7 picture frames, $1 each (and pictures - mine are sideways accidentally)
- hot glue gun (or adhesive)
- curtain rod of your choosing ($3 at Christmas Tree Shop)
- black silk ribbon (I'd suggest a thicker one than the one I used)

Line up the frames where you want them on the curtain rod.
Use the glue gun to attach the ribbon to the back of the frames,
tie the ribbon onto the curtain rod.
And there you have it - very simple and a nice addition to a room.  I decided to use quotes I found on Pinterest (but again accidentally ordered two of them the wrong way!)  One of my frames is hanging a little crooked but it's all good.

Also in my efforts to reorganize this morning I found a new way to store my scarves!  Simple and practical too :-)

Items You'll Need:
One Hanger (With bottom bar)
One container of shower rings ($1.50 at Walmart)

Put the rings on the hanger, and then drape your scarves through the shower rings.  Hang in closet and tada!

Well I'm off to go back to cleaning and reorganizing!  However I'll leave you with a little bit of fashion first.
Doesn't this just look like the perfect weekend outfit for grabbing a coffee, casual comfort at the mall, going to the library?

Which do you prefer for your weekend activities?

I think I like the second better :-)
